Zeeva is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Documentation and QA Compliance Supervisor. In this role, you will review and co-sign clinical documentation to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and insurance requirements, focusing on medical necessity in documentation. You will also provide ongoing feedback to staff supervisors to support the professional growth of our team and maintain high quality client care. Providing some trainings on QA may be required.
There will be a period of insurance contracting prior to onboarding. Complete credentialing and onboarding with insurance panels tio meet requirements for co-signing documentation tied to supervisory billing.
This is a work from home position- that can be done on your own time.

Key responsibilities:
1) Documentation Review & Compliance
  • Review and co-sign clinical notes, treatment plans, and other documentation submitted.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with QA standards and expectations
  • Identify and address documentation gaps or inconsistencies to maintain compliance with insurance billing standards
2) Quality Assurance
  • Monitor documentation practices to ensure adherence to guidelines and HIPAA compliance
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation quality and efficency
3) Feedback and Support
  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to provide constructive feedback based on documentation reviews
  • Assist in identifying training opportunities to improve documentation and compliance practices
Compensation and Workload: This is a contract position, up to $160/hour

Education and Licensure:
  • Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
  • Active and unrestricted psychologist license in California and/or Nevada
Experience:
  • An expert in reviewing and co-siging documentation for compliance purposes
  • Very strong understanding of documentation and compliance requirements in psychotherapy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proficency with electronic health record systems
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for providing feedback and support to supervisors
Insurance Requirements
  • Will undergo credentialing and onboarding with major insurance panel
